Designing a Festival Experience: Modular stage design for the public space and installations. Built in collaboration with the workshops of the Theatre Plauen-Zwickau (Germany).
My Role: Stage Design and Art Installation
In collaboration with the Theater Plauen-Zwickau, I designed modular stage elements for short performances and created a series of independent installations to enhance the festival’s atmosphere and engage its young audience. The project was about transforming the public space into a playground for creativity and interaction.
My installations included:
The „Tiny Dancers Mobile“ that moved with its own kinetic energy and light, serving as a mesmerizing, stand-alone visual anchor, especially during the evening after dark.
Collaborative „Palette Modules,“ designed and created with Nils Braun, that were embedded with interactive motor skills games to facilitate a participatory musical performance by Jana Heilmann und Justus Verdenhalven from Theater Strahl, called Song-generator. These modules turned audience members into active participants and inbetween acts they served as seating elements for discussion groups or recess.
A „Dream Wall“, designed and created with Nils Braun, for audience participation. One side invited the public to share their personal dreams, while the other encouraged play through small motor skills games for interactive engagement.
The Puppet Theatre Entrance, which I decorated together with Mireia Guzman, to set a festive and celebratory tone for the award ceremony, marking a memorable conclusion to the event.
